Pedestrian Sundays begins this Sunday!

I thought I’d just give a quick update on what our church is doing this summer. We’ve been very fortunate to be able to participate in a community street festival, the vision of Pedestrian Sundays. Previously held in the Kensington Market district of Toronto, this summer they made the decision to expand the festival to our street. The whole street will be closed to vehicular traffic, and all the vendors and restaurants will be spilling onto the street. There will be live music all afternoon, and a special children’s activity area. You can find more information about Pedestrian Sundays Baldwin Village by following this link.
This coming Sunday July 15th is the first of three monthly Pedestrian Sundays.We’re all really excited about the event, and we have 30+ energized volunteers ready to help out wherever we can.

Well, I’m also hoping to get some photos for that Sunday as well. Maybe if I can convince some co-workers to “drop by”….
